The practice, the person, the approach
About Crawford & Co
Crawford & Co is the consultancy practice of Hannah Crawford, an executive coach, facilitator, and workshop designer whose experience spans investment banking, the NHS, the Royal Shakespeare Company, the Scottish Government, and Steven Bartlett's Flight Story.
The breadth is deliberate. It means Hannah can walk into any room, a trading floor, a legal partnership, a clinical leadership team, a fast-moving founding team, and quickly see what is working, what isn't, and why. She understands how different cultures operate under pressure, and how to connect with people at every level of seniority.
Crawford & Co works with the people inside high-pressure organisations, from established firms in finance and law to fast-scaling tech companies and founder-led teams, strengthening the psychological foundations that determine how teams actually perform. The methodology is grounded in behavioural science, high-performance psychology, and trauma-informed practice. The delivery is in person, experiential, and immediate.
The problem we solve
Most performance problems in high-pressure organisations are not, at root, problems of competence. The people are technically excellent. What gets in the way is psychological: how they manage pressure, how they communicate, how they relate to authority and expectation, and how those individual patterns compound into team-level dysfunction.
Traditional L&D rarely reaches this level. A one-day training course or a set of self-assessment tools will not change how someone behaves when a partner walks into the room or a deal goes sideways. Behaviour change requires something more direct, more human, and more honest.
Our approach
We work in the room. Not in a report, not in a framework document, not in a follow-up survey six months later. Every engagement is live, interactive, and designed to create insight in the moment.
We do not over-complicate the work or hide it behind jargon. We design sessions around your specific context, your sector, your culture, your people, and we deliver them with directness, warmth, and a level of psychological precision that generalist providers cannot match. The result is teams that communicate more clearly, leaders who manage themselves as well as others, and organisations where performance is cultivated rather than simply demanded.
Recent work
Crawford & Co recently delivered a commissioned workshop for analysts at a London investment bank, with further sessions commissioned on the strength of the first. Hannah has spoken at the ZAG Conference 2024 and the Hult Business School Women in Business Conference 2026.
Hannah provided a fresh perspective and worked through relevant topics in a relaxed atmosphere. She did not force or push anyone to disclose information they might feel uncomfortable with. The programme was well structured.
